A laboratory for the invention of new tools of radical imagination, through choreographic art, discursive experimentation and poetic-political displacement. A research space for restorative work, improvisations and connections between beings, whose aim is to conceive artistic works and pedagogical acts that highlight ancestral technologies of endurance and vitality. Together, these three words are pleasant to the mouth: NA MATA LAB. At once an invitation to pleasure, at once a sound that in the Kikongo language can evoke: wound, luminescence, word, struggle, seam, path, 4, season, edge and the action of climbing. In late Latin, it refers to small forests, and in the etymology of its derived languages, to a reed mat.
